Ok, what is the whole point of a DDos on a RSPS?

DDoS is a Distributed Denial of Service attack. For more information please see Denial-of-service attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The point of DDosing on a RSPS is an reaction of people who got banned and demand and un-ban. Jealous people who have a own server and lose there players to another more succesfull server.

Fill in the other reasons yourself.

About what it is, the answer has been giving

DDoS (Dee dee oh ess) - Distributed Denial of Service.

Most kids on here, Hack Forums, and generally with Runescape Private Servers know nothing (or little) about it.

Most people use outdated "Host booters" that have been cracked for a long time.

People "DDoS" for multiple reasons, depending on the person.

DDoS varies from two main things. Host booters and botnets (No, skiddish shells hosted on a fail CentOS $5/month isn't DDoSing). Most popular botnet is an mIRC botnet setup on a Linux private server.

What I've also noticed lately is that people are starting to use "Dee Doss" instead of "Dee dee oh ess". If you actually know the abbreviation (Distributed Denial of Service) you'd know that "Dee" in "DDoS" isn't a prefix. /facepalm
