OK, I am using Season-X 317 source and client, When I try to get the client to connect to the source on the VPS both of which are Season-X it won't connect. I have the VPS's IP in the client. I really don't know what is going on can someone help me? I have TeamViewer if it is needed.

Did you forward the port of the sever, make sure the IP is correct in the client (and that you then re-compiled), there's many things that it could be. Most however are simple fixes.
Errr, I was told I don't have to forward the port of the server. How do I go about doing this?
Well, it is different for each VPS company. However, the best way to go would to email the admin, and ask if they could port forward XXXX port to box XXX.
Also, did you change the IP in the source... look in client.java, then find the IP... change it... recompile... then try
Hope this helps
Code:public int GetWorld(int PlayerID) { String Server = PlayerHandler.players[PlayerID].playerServer; if (Server.equals("127.0.0.1") || Server.equals("localhost")) { return 1; } else if (Server.equals("")) { return 2; } else { println_debug("Invalid Server: " + Server); return 1; }Which one do I change.Code:playerPass = inStream.readString(); try { playerServer = inStream.readString(); } catch (Exception e) { playerServer = "127.0.0.1"; }
Change them both. Change it to the IP of the VPS. Once you do that, re-compile...
OK, just a second 150k Til 98 WC on RS.
Damnit, didn't work.
Any Idea?
