I understand that RuneScript is Jagex's custom scripting language, but is it used to write their server or client?

Im 90% sure its just to write the server, because how else would we be interpreting client code?

So im guessing the clients are just written purely from Java SE?

Oh and another thing, is JavaScript used in the client and/or server? and what is difference between JavaScript and Java SE?
