Your best best would be studying yourself, rather than having someone teach it to you, that just shows laziness. Watching lectures, reading guidebooks, etc. It's a long process, but it gets the job done, more so than it would if you had someone telling you everything, and having to cram it. The lectures are sometimes hours long, and get you acquainted with the Java language. I can't provide a valid link atm, sorry.

Eh?... I never did that and look where I am now.

I just taught myself using tutorials and snippets until I got a feel for the language and started writing things on my own.

Okay, So don't go to school and teach your self something you dont know with no help from "Anybody". If you ask for help it shows laziness.

    Uhm yeah....No offence...but your wrong

Also study's show that if your being told how to do something, you learn more.

Also, if it showed laziness, then there would be no school/collage/anything to help you. lol

I will go through tutorials/threads/ect. Even help threads to learn stuff, just need a start lol

well, if we were to pretend you were going to school to learn about java (the main language choice for servers) then your 'textbook' would be this, Trail: Learning the Java Language (The Java™ Tutorials)

It's definitely worth reading. Check this post later for updates
