I recently reinstalled my OS as the 64 bit version. The x64 version of Java is bugged though so i had to install the x86 version.
It installed to "Program Files (x86)" as opposed to "Program Files", as a result Java isn't able to run properly.

I'm thinking i need to set the CLASSPATH variable I tried looking at the tutorials on sun.com but it didn't explain much on what i needed to put as the Value..

If anyone could help, that'd be great.
