Help with making my first RSPS?!

Hey.

I've been wanting to make my own server for a while now, not anything big, just for a few friends and stuff. I would like my own spawn pk server but I have no idea how to go about making it.

I have no JAVA experience at all, or any coding etc for that matter. So I'm coming to this with absolutely no knowledge of how to make it a RSPS, and so would be thankful for simple and extremely basic information/guidelines/help. If anybody can link me to a really easy guide to make my first private server that'd be really helpful. Also, how did you first start coding/making RSPS?

P.S. Do I need a thing called a source, like Hyperion, and does it cost anything?

PPS. Preferably I want a 317 server with items like godswords, whips, bandos and stuff? I'm probably way out of my depth here but any help is appreciated.

Use Shard, search the downloads section for it.

Thanks, are there any really basic delta guides to get me started? And is it hard to make a spawn pk server?

If you do use delta, find the master command in client.java, and change the rights to = 0.

LOL that fucking made me lol he doesn't leech just cause he starts with a delta and yes theres alot of basic delta tuts.
