No matter what I do, I can't make it so people can connect to my server. I tried re-port forwarding tons of times. Still didn't work. One of my friends tried to fix it for hours...still doesn't work. I'm running Vista x64 SP1 Premium Edition....

Anyone have any ideas? Help will be appreciated

An easy way to test is to port with utorrent as it bypasses most of vistas security features. I would search youtube for a guide to porting with utorrent. If he can connect after you port with utorrent its something with windows firewall, Vista is a bitch like that

Happy, I can connect to me own server if I put the ip as 127.0.0.1. But if I put the actual ip in, then no, I can't connect to it.

Raid, what do you mean by open it up?.....

You have to allow the port to pass your firewall to receive outside connections. Go to your windows firewall and it should say something like "Let a program through windows firewall" You can add a program or there is a button for adding a port. Click add a port and put in 43594

That means your firewall is blocking it/port is not open.
Check firewall settings and configure windows firewall to allow port 43594 (or what ever the port is you want to host on)
