Before christmas I was making my own server, and I had it running on my computer without portforwarding, this only alloud me to log onto the server which is what I wanted, just so I could edit the server and fix it.

Now I have a new computer and I downloaded no-ip, I ticked the no-ip.biz box on my DUC, and pressed 'Run' In my server files, When I try and log on it says ''Error Connecting To Server'', How can I fix this I dont want to portforward because I dont want other people logging on at this moment.

    Thanks, In advance.!

    Are you using the ip
    Code:
    0.0.0.0
    or
    Code:
    127.0.0.1
You can't use a redirect because you haven't portforwarded. The IPs listed above are localhost, aka only you.

    Hope this helps

to port foward go to 'start' then go on the CMD and type in 'ipconfig' press enter and loads of stuff should come up the one you want is defult gateway when you get that open internet browser and type your defult gateway in the browser. Or just go to go and type my ip adress then copy the number that comes up in to your browser. Then if you got a belkin like me a page with all your settings and stuff. Look on the left and go to 'Virtual Servers' under the Sub heading fire wall. Next scroll down abit and for 'Inbound port' put in 43594(thats the port i use) then where it says type leave it on TCP. Where it says private ip add 3 at the end of it thats what i got off a guid any way. once ya done that where it says private port type 43594 again and then save changes.

This only works if ya using belkin router other routers probley have the simulair settings. If this dosnt help you just google how to port foward my router
