    My first day trying Prog out - feels good to be back in the old world. No lag, whilst combat and skilling feels normal so far and it's great to see some of the original monsters and locations when using the older builds. I'm also using one of those cheap Dell monitors from the 00s with the 1024x768 max resolution, really does help in terms of zooming on the smaller game window without losing detail.


    I've got some random bugs/errors to note from my travels so far, but let me know if any/all of these kind of findings should in future be recorded on the Discord instead of this thread.

    ?> When a lesser demon (pre-06 model) dies, if you move from the spot of the kill, the fallen body will rotate to face your location for the two seconds until it disappears. Was that the original effect?

    ?> The 2-handed sword run animation is broken - in the earlier builds your character appears as you would when standing in a crowded map space, so you look like you're kind of skateboarding along. Toggling ::ms has no effect on it. EDIT: in the later build #377, there is a 2h run animation where you are holding the 2h with both hands, but the arms and weapon are clipping through the upper body. I'd suggest that all builds use the older run animation, if it can be found/replicated from longswords (where the 2h is just in the right hand, swinging up & down); that looks more in keeping with the other 2h animations also.

    ?> There's two kinds of Knights of Ardougne in the city centre; one type is fine but the other is wearing a tin-foil hat instead of the full helm and his stand animations (in and out of combat) are broken - he looks as he would if he were standing in a crowded map space.

    ?> If you try to close an open door, the right-click option still says 'open' instead of 'close'.

    ?> In Lumbridge Castle and grounds, three rats, one man and Duke Horacio are stuck on one square, their original spawn point I guess, but they should be moving around a bit. The rat in the kitchen is moving around Ok - must be the cheese crumbs lying about keeping him active.

    ?> Trading with Diango in Draynor marketplace does nothing.

    ?> I think there's more scorpions in Ardougne Zoo than there's supposed to be - currently 8 of them so they're almost all standing still as no room to move. I think there would normally be just three or four?

    ?> If looking at the character from the front/sides, the Legends cape clips through the body, regardless of whether you're wearing clothes/armour or nothing at all.

    ?> You can get into the Ranging Guild fine, but the door animation is broken - it closes on your character's body as you're passing through the frame. I'm probably gonna see that a lot as the guild's the only place to get javelins / Frankish thrownaxes - if their stats can be boosted I aim to train with those a lot.

    Is there future plans on improving the PK-bots. Would also love staking bots, better if progressive bots start staking when they reach 99 combat skills so it feels more natural and doesn't inject coins out of thin air to the economy.

    V2.9 Now available. Link in 1st post.

    V2.9 Patch notes:
    - Fixed up issue with obtaining slayer task
    - Stat reducing spells should now work correctly (+also properly applies the effect to npcs too)
    - Added Diangos toy shop

    Can check more stuff out in the coming days, but just to flag now as maybe more important:
    For V2.9, on death of woman in Lumby castle grounds, she respawns instantly in the place where she died. You can sometimes end up fighting her from several squares away. She can walk through bushes, fountains and walls. On death, if she was fighting you from a distance, her bones/other drops will appear next to you whilst she still spawns at the point where she died.
    This (at least the instant respawn issue) is also happening with men and goblins in Lumby. It's not happening with cows. Haven't checked further afield yet.

    I think I know what is breaking the bots. It seems to be happening to bots over time whenever there is an NPC interaction.

    For example, the places I typically find my ::bot account stuck are:
    1. Fighting moss giants in the sewers
    2. Casting magic strikes on the lesser demon in the wizard's tower
    3. killing imps
    4. killing goblins

    Seems to be some kind of hang up for bots when training combat i think? they walk all the way to ardougne and get stuck at the forked path by the tree and even after clearing their task they eventually end up stuck there again.
