If anyone bought it from him, charge back. Owning a copy != resale rights.

The code is mishmash of shit code from a bunch of developers from more than half a decade ago. Server is NOT good. But, if you're interested in building a Paragon-based project, this is the latest version of the client w/ updated interfaces, tabbed banks, clan chat, OSRS data, mostly finished resizable, etc. Do what you'd like, but don't ask me for any help setting it up.

Client is a 530 loading an original 464 cache (obvs with custom modifications) w/ all the packets converted to 464 so that it could be advertised in the <500 section. Server base is Hyperion.

I thought this was decided to be moved to the 503+ section like Wallied's 498 with hd due to the core engine?

Cool though that this is finally released by someone who will probably have the topic stay up. I've seen pieces/leaks show up over the years.

The server is honestly a bit complicated and a bit of a mess. If you're a total beginner, you're probably not going to get it running. You'll need gradle to build the server, PostgreSQL for the game database, and a copy of XenForo 2.1 for handling user authentication (and for XF, you'll need PHP + MySQL/MariaDB).

I didn't really have any intention on posting it, so I also don't really want to sit here helping people set it up. If I'm feeling up to it later today, I'll write a quick guide on getting it running.

Added the grass texture and kinda fixed the trees. Can prolly swap the tree models for osrs models or enlarge texture size idk why they look retarded still.

Havent downloaded myself so not sure how much issues there is, but based on the pics theres also atleast one issue with minimap:

^My guess is its either to do with sprite, sprite offsets or handling of the bridge flag.

I don't remember Walied's being moved into the 500+ section, but it doesn't really make a ton of sense, IMO, for it to be posted there. Perhaps if it was purely the client being released, I could see the logic, but the server itself is the same one from back when we ran it as a[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

The actual protocol is unmodified, aside from some custom packets. You can totally connect to it with a 464 client. The client it is bundled just with happens to be a newer engine client, though, which is converted to be 1:1 identical packet structure-wise to 464.

It's muddy for sure, but in that sense, where do those projects like totty's unity renderer or the[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] belong? In the application development section? [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], but I don't think that makes OSRS any less "OSRS" simply because someone happens to use a new rev client. Personally, I think you can really only base it off of what the server protocol is otherwise you run into too many weird edge cases with the rules.
