thanks to Polar, rs mod no longer has an issue where kotlinscript files would throw unresolved errors when you first installed the server until intellij was restarted
rs mod was upgraded to version 0.0.2 with this fix https://github.com/Tomm0017/rsmod/releases/tag/0.0.2
upon log in:
Now this is something the community needs. Hopefully it'll convince the remaining 317 folk to move to bigger and better things.
Very cool man is it posibble to set up with eclipse ? Ive managed to run with intellij but my laptop gets a little laggy with intellij
eclipse doesn't have support for KotlinScript so plugins won't have auto-completion and they will appear to have reference errors in them, but u can still run the server.
u can run the client in eclipse if u prefer, but u will have to fix an issue with encoding characters since the client has characters that eclipse can't encode by default. i don't use eclipse, but this is how someone mentioned they fixed it:
I fixed it by changing the file encoding the utf-8
In eclipse
Edit > Set Encoding
It's the option at the bottom
Kotlin compiling could be a tough bitch with gradle, so in order to speed up the process, include this in your gradle.properties (create one if it doesn't exist yet)
Code:org.gradle.daemon=true org.gradle.parallel=true
