I keep getting this error, i've been tryna troubleshoot it for like an hour now, please hlep
If this has the same networking/core features lare provided for asteria i'd highly suggest nobody to use it... because it is faarrr from stable.
Try to host it with a few hundreds of players (or bots)... And don't skip the client > server packets like most bots do. Have it set up so it sends a login request (but obviously don't do anything with it) and don't disable incoming/outgoing packets for these bots.
I've been running an Asteria 3.0 project for over 2 years (Avarrocka / Edgeville), we've had many problems regarding the networking features (Our first game-release we had 100+ players trying to login and we also HIGHLY exceeded the 600ms cycle time). We thought since lare wrote it and the code looked all nice that it'd work... I was young and stupid, always test no matter the circumstances.
You'll be surprised, an average Project Insanity will most likely be able to hold a bit more players, wish I still had the benchmarks so I could show you.
Avarrocka was actually one of my inspirations on this project, sad to hear that. I got a copy of avarrocka server and client about a year ago most likely a leak but I’m gunna have to give this a nice test later on now just for gags, I’ve only ran it local. I did it as a demo for our options of what we could host, we went with Hyperion instead.
