The only cache changes from the previous one is the sprites.dat/idx, which I put in the download.

Was also working on clipping, still need to figure out how the client populates the clip array where objects are located, seems to be in the region change packet, so I'll have to refactor it a bit to understand it better.

Basically releasing this because I found a lot of bugs with the first one and most if not all should be fixed here.

    Some images from this version:

    Spoiler for Media:

    - Can't really tell in these pictures, but different attack styles, use different animations

    - PS: I just made this quick interface (so it's not supposed to be good or fancy) to see how I could go about coloring the box without using different interfaces.

    Spoiler for New features:

    - Added libs folder, so you don't need to download netty and other libraries to run the server.
    - Added a run batch file.
    - I couldn't be asked to make a compiler, so I didn't , but you could easily make one if simple java in all honesty.

    - Switched some file parsing over to xml (more user-friendly/cleaner imo)
    - Added a weapon system, should make it easier for combat related formulas.
    - Fixed the sendPosition method in packet sender (groundItems, game objects, etc would sometimes be spawned in incorrect positions).
    - In the progress of loading interface sprites from their own binary file (sprites.dat from Galkon [already done]) and packing current interfaces.
    - Fixed quite a lot of bugs client-sided mostly with positioning of some entities (tooltips, tooltip boxes, hovering, etc), still need some fixes though)
    - Fixed the skills tab just cause it was bothering me, should work perfect, besides the tooltip boxes on the last right side skills.
    - Fixed WalkToTask (client will only send clickOnEntity [entity being npc, object, ground item, etc] packets if a path is found).
    - Added some weapons and some special attacks.
    - Added a good clan chat system, I would say it's about 90% done, only thing that would need to be finished is the client-sided clan setup (the interface, which I cba to look up and make tbh) and right-clicking on players (will do this later).

Like I said I don't really have much time to work on this, so unfortunately can't add too much content on releases.

If you're having trouble with the above link, try this one:

    Spoiler for v0.5:

    Spoiler for Note:
I will not be giving compiler or run batch files, so either use an IDE (STRONGLY RECOMMEND)
    or make your own.

You will also need these: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    (Netty and common-compressor)

To add to eclipse you simply right-click the project, go to properties, java build path, add external jars.

I wasn't even planning on releasing this...But since this is my last year for my studies...
I better stop this project or I'll end up coding instead of studying for tests and shit...

Please note, I was just getting to the content-writing part...So this is definitely not finished...
But thought maybe someone with decent java knowledge may find this useful, either
by leeching some stuff in it or using it as a base.

Side-note: I will be continuing this...But at a much smaller pace (most likely whenever I can't sleep)

Since media is needed, just took some random screenies:

    Spoiler for Media:

    Spoiler for Links:

    Server & Client:

    Cache:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Spoiler for Credits:
    Client-

All credits to alex (honey badger), galkon and killer99 (I think) for this client.

Some credits for me too of course, since this isn't an entire leech,
I have done a lot of things to this client

    Server-

    Credits to Graham for his cache reading classes {@link org.niobe.fs}, {@link org.niobe.fs.archive}
,some outgoing packet documentations and probably 1-2 other classes (file utilities).

And rest is pretty much my own writing, since I'm the only developer of Niobe.

Well it's not like the server weighs 100 mb...Don't see a reason you can't download if you really want to know what features it has...I mean this is a release not an advertisement, you can download if you want, if you don't then just don't
