This is a framework I wrote few months back. It supposed to be a lightweight, lib-free server base for me to write content on.
After few weeks of programming I've understood that I'm capable of writing better things, so I decided to quit this once and for all.
It's highly documented and very simplistic, hopefully community will find it useful.

Maybe they will stop using PI now. Nice release!

Not necessarily, RuneSource, since it's been released much longer, has had much more development, fixes, improvements, etc... RuneSource is also a more complete base, assumption made with the media and information from this thread. Although the required work is a very little amount and I suppose classed as easy. I think both bases would have to be thoroughly compared and both will have better areas than each other. Since I have not looked through either of the two, I cannot have a say in which will over power.
