Very enjoyable so far

The best server at the moment TBH. Got me hooked the first time I played it and I played literally every new server release there is.
Also one of the reasons I love this server is that.
Grind and grind you will still get good gears. RNG will let you skip the steps but for those who's luck is bad as mine grind is the way to go!

Really like this server. Something I've not seen before. Brill job
This is one of the most unqiue servers out as of yet. It's growing into a massive community with tons of content available!
Keep up the amazing work Winter! 👏
- Java
Looks interesting, I've just signed up. You should make it easier for people to download the client though (add a download link to this thread).
So, I've done a shit job at keeping this up to date...
So here's a run-down of the top 10 biggest changes over the past 3 months!
Keep in mind, there's SO MUCH MORE than what is stated here. It's been a crazy 3 months of non-stop iteration!
1. The Olympian Raids have been reworked significantly!
More information
TLDR:
- Scaling mechanics and stats with party size
- Completely new mechanics, keeping everybody on their toes and rewarding high level gameplay
- New purple chest system where contribution to the raid is rewarded
2. Prestige system transformation
This went from a system that rewarded players for prestiging only their combat skills to a MASSIVE new system that allowed and encouraged advanced progression through every single skill in the game, each with their own set of unique perks that reward you for your continued progression through each rank.
Skillers and PVMers each have their different roles to play in the economy, and are cruicial in the wide web of obtaining and consuming resources and currency.
3. Game Stability
For a while we were suffering from some significant issues with disconnections and players getting stuck.
After a lot of work and tuning over time, we still have the odd blip, but the #help channel in discord is probably the quietest channel there is
4. The Well of Goodwill
The Well of Goodwill was introduced to consume the 3 main currencies from the game and provide related buffs to all players logged in for the 3 hour time window:
- Skilling tokens, for skilling buffs
- PVM tokens, for PVM buffs
- Coins, for luck buffs
Each category has a set of 3 buffs available at any one time, which rotate around every month.
Skilling buffs:
Process resource: Chance to give the processed version of a resource when gathering
Resource doubler: Chance to double gathered resources
Resource banker: Chance to automatically bank gathered resources
Expedited production: Chance to process all queued resources at once
Skilling XP boost
Master gatherer: Increased base chance to gather resources
Crafting accelerator: Reduced ticks required per crafting action
PVM buffs:
Superior spawner: Increased chance to spawn superior slayer monsters
Bonus slayer points
Bonus accuracy
Bonus damage
Combat XP boost
Rejuvination: Additional passive HP regen
Resilience: Damage reduction
Luck buffs:
Drop rate boost
Pet rate boost
Save charges: Chance to not consume charges for your weapon or tome on hit
Skilling token tycoon: Increased amount of skilling tokens obtained from skilling
PVM token tycoon: Increased amount of PVM tokens dropped from killing NPCs
Boss token tycoon: Increased amount of boss tokens dropped from bosses
Lucky global drop table: Enables the "lucky global drop table", full of rare items and cosmetics
Luck of the goblins: Chance to spawn a Treasure Goblin when killing any NPC above level 100
5. Well of Sacrifice
For a long time, obtaining a combat pet was seen as an absolutely necessary grind for players to break into the later-game content, because of the additional DPS they provided.
The Well of Sacrifice was a much needed item sinking mechanic which gave players a way to sink their extra items for points which could be spent on pets that give you passive boosts in combat.
Simply use your excess items on the well to obtain Well of Sacrifice points, and speak to Khan Baba to spend your points at his shop.
Additionally, each pet has an enraged or empowered version, which you have a chance to obtain when sacrificing the pet from Khan's shop to the well.
With every subsequent sacrifice of that pet, you have an increasing chance to obtain the upgraded version of it.
The final upgrade is to get the Tz-Rek Zuk pet which has all of the passive buffs of the other enraged/empowered pets combined into one.
6. Runecrafting and Magic changes
Runecrafting is a core part of the game now, rather than just a nuisance side skill to spend time on.
Obtaining runes through Runecrafting is far from a slow process, with the addition of dense essence blocks, bind-random, bind-catalytic, and bind-elemental options on the Runecrafting altar.
You can choose between getting MASSIVE XP drops, or getting massive amounts of the single rune that you're wanting a lot of.
On top of this, Warding was a whole new crafting system built on top of Runecrafting which allows you to create staves, elemental tomes, pages, wands, and tridents.
Magic combat spec players are also further rewarded with exclusive buffs to the amount of runes you craft, and the amount of charges you get out of your tome pages.
7. Expansion to weaponry choices
As mentioned above, wands and tridents were added into the game for magic-inclined players, but it didn't stop there.
There were also whole new sets of weapon introduced, with different trade-offs that make the game so much more interesting!
- Warhammers are slower in speed, but have higher strength bonuses and use less charges over time. They also have no attack requirement, making them an amazing option for players to quickly level up their attack level again when prestiging it.
- Longbows do more damage at higher ranges, so you are rewarded for your constant relative positioning during combat.
- Shortbows do less base damage, but have a frequent proc which will remove the attack delay completely, for a really powerful rapid-fire.
- Crossbows have all the different enchanted bolt effects, with e.g. ruby bolts having a 50% chance to do AoE damage around your target.
- Thrown weapons have less damage, but are incredibly fast, and have armour penetration built in, which makes them great for fighting higher tier NPCs.
- Fire spells have a chance to ignite the target, burning them for damage over time.
- Stab weapons pierce your enemy causing them to bleed for damage over time. This is great for high DPS.
- Slash weapons can critically strike, dealing your max hit directly to the target. This is great for DPS, as well as high XP gains.
- Crush weapons can stun your target, delaying their attacks and locking them in place for a short amount of time.
Donator zone, perks, areas
Over time, the amount of stuff available in the donator areas at home have been expanded.
The Sapphire donator zone, which is rich with quality of life perks with all of the things you interact with, expanded into the Emerald zone, containing a whole new set of trees that never deplete as well as additional farming patches for you to grow your crops in.
The Diamond donator zone also had a huge update which added a whole new, more green, are full of high level non-depleting trees, a bonfire for firemaking, and more farming patches.
The Donator and Vote Point shop has also been updated to include a HUGE amount of new items with a bunch of different uses.
The different donator ranks were also updated to give scaling passive buffs to your player, including a few such as: increased pet chance, a vote point multiplier, and increased duration to buffs.
Boss fight reworks
In addition to the new bosses Kraken, Skotizo, and the Dagannoth Kings, there were some MASSIVE updates under the hood to basically every single boss to make their mechanics much more engaging and rewarding to play with, and exciting when taking part in group bossing content.
Basically every single boss comes packed with mechanics that scale to whatever number of players you bring into the instance, so it's far from the well-known and sadly-expected experience of fighting tens of thousands of inanimate glorified meat-sacks. Every boss keeps you on your toes, and you're rewarded for mastery of your own gameplay, and mastery of the specific boss
Achievements
A whole new Achievements system was added in, that looks to guide new players along a few paths to learn about the game, as well as reward players for their engagement in all the different bits of content.
So far there are 3 tiers of achievements, with intention to grow this as the content grows to properly flesh it out and continue to meet the above goals!
Come and check us out at August RSPS
If you're an old player, the game has changed so much that I encourage you to come back and give it another crack.

Looks actually quite impressive. After watching the whole YouTube video of the updates, I really like the boss attack animation where it goes to the sky and then flys down at you, I think that is very cool.
You defiantly have something here and I will be following this and may even hop on a few times to see the progress and invest some time in playing.
Best of luck to you with this.
