Rust, CSGO, and WOW is quite different from Runescape private servers so I personally wouldn't compare them.
Unfortunately, stolen/leeched work can bring you quite some money, some people are even ok with that. I'd personally call it "Damaging your Image". Before doing anything ask yourself if you want to be known as the guy who made a profit off of a stolen/leeched base. You'd just be losing respect at that point imo. Not only then but whenever you're trying to build something again you'll just be hearing all the shit from before.

Obviously they are different, but I am talking about the advertising side and how to invest which is almost the same in any type of server in any game, since we talk about programming servers if it is different for each game since they are handled in different language


I would not use something stolen and I do not care about money, I do not work on this and I only do it to "invest" in something and have fun at the same time.

I'm not sure why you would be questioning the integrity of other servers when you're charging $10k for players to obtain the maximum Patron rank on a server which has not even hit 100 players online consistently... Take the moral high ground when you can practice what you preach or don't take it at all.

It only seems to show a poor conversion rate, I'd suggest removing it tbh.
