    Yeah, our release tanked a bit, but we're confident we can pull it back. After our release we halted 90% of advertising in order to get the server stable and enjoyable again, now that we're at that point we're beginning to sink thousands of dollars into advertisements and hyping coming updates.

    If it doesn't work, we'll try a different strategy, but at least we'll be able to say we stuck at it and tried rather than just shutting down because our player count dropped.

    OS Royale - Update [2018-01-10]

    - Content -
    • Presets can now only be opened in edgeville or the donator zone
    • Looting bags will no longer be dropped if a player already contains one
    • Clue scrolls will no longer be dropped if a player already contains one
    • Nurse sarah's restore time has been reduced to 2 (1 for donators) minutes
    • All god war alters have been added with a use-period of 10 (5 for donators) minutes
    • Added a simplified clue scroll system (simply click on scroll for reward)
    • Added all osrs clue scroll items for each scroll
    • Npc kill logs has been removed, and instead a activity logger was implemented which only certain npcs and activities are logged into your account.
    • The well of goodwill cost has been decreased from 30m to 15m
    • Clan task cancel cost was reduced to 5 instead of 25
    • Tokkul will now be spendable on tzhaar weaponry and armor and gems up to onyx, not including dragonstone
    • Players are now able to sacrifice a firecape for a chance of receiving the tztok-jad pet (1/200)
    • Added ability to open herblore boxes (will give random yield of grimy herbs)
    • Cancelling slayer tasks has been reduced to 25 (20 for donators) slayer points
    • Blocking slayer tasks has been reduced to 100 (200 before) slayer points
    • Option for selecting slayer task difficulty has been added
    • Slayer rewards are now based on your task difficulty
    • Added :taffonline command which will display all online staff members
    • Many new items were introduced to the vote store + price changes
    • Added ability to crush up unicorn horns with pestle and mortar




    - Bug Fixes -
    • Fixed issue with being able to use poll booth as a furnace
    • Fixed facing your opponent when you one hit them
    • Mining rune essence has been fixed
    • Recipe for disaster minigame issue has been fixed
    • Place holders are now saved
    • Abyssal dagger price has been fixed
    • Abyssal daggers now have correct bonuses and skill requirements
    • Fixed small teleport interface bug
    • Fixed issue with profile viewer
    • All skillcapes are now untradeable
    • All granite armour defence requirements have been added
    • Genie lamps are now untradeable
    • Fixed an issue with displaying max hits (donator dummy & equipment interface)
    • Fixed autocasting getting reset when taking off armor
    • Fixed npcs getting lured and not walking home
    • Bank collapsing first tab will now fix null slots
    • Fixed null head on smithing interface
    • Fixed enchanting diamond amulets
    • Fixed weapon configs when switching weapons




    Client:
    • Added a new interface to display all loot that bots have pked
    • Small item and npc definition fixes




    Pk Bot Features:
    • Bots are spawned periodically after the server is started
    • Bots will automatically re-gear when spawned
    • Bots will select a random class
    • Bots will eat, drink, and use prayer accordingly to their fight and their attack style
    • Bots will vengeance whenever it can, if they have the correct requirements for it
    • Bots will do special attacks and switch back to it's main weapons
    • Bots will do non-special attacks with a 2 handed weapons
    • Bots will teleport out when out of food or prayer
    • Bots will pickup all their loot and it will be logged globally
    • Currently 5 different bot types (2 mains, 2 pures, and 1 zerker)

    You guys should not initially be throwing that much money into your adverting and marketing strategy so early.

    I wouldn't straight up sink thousands of dollars into advertising right away.

    Find something that works out for you guys, and make sure you catch the public eye. The RSPS scene is sort of low these days so think outside the box.

    I wish the staff at OS-Royale best of luck in the upcoming future.

    The server is genuinely fantastic to play, unsure why the player count is so low. Other than the laggy start, it's been amazing and the devs are doing a great job with pushing out needed content updates & stability fixes.
