We're stilling missing 2 skills (hunter and construction), desert is still not released, and a good chunk of the map has yet to be really worked on. To my knowledge, none of the barbarian content has been worked on, besides the bar crawl and barbarian agility course.
Important notice: The following statement is an expression of my personal opinion and does not directly reflect the decision of the entire team!
I do not see the experience rate of ScapeRune going any higher. It is already double that of the original game. If we would to increase it any further, the game would start to become noticeably unbalanced. This is bad as it damages the longevity of the game, and let us remember that RuneScape (and alternately ScapeRune) is supposed to be a slow-paced game to be played over a span of time, as with most MMO's. Lets not forget that our experience rate of 2x is already technically "faster" than if you were to boost up the official RuneScape to the same rate as we still have not perfected our formulas for most of the skills and for combat. Let us not forget what ScapeRune really is. We're a remake, an emulation of what RuneScape once was. My personal opinion is that our current experience rate hits the sweet spot. It is still slow enough to where it feels natural and true to the game and keeps the game in-check, yet fast enough to still enjoy it without nearly as much grind as you once did on the official version of the game. We've worked so hard to
accurately recreate content to the bone, raising the experience rate would only destroy that and make the game feel more like a custom private server than actual RuneScape (which is what we're aiming for).
This is not directed towards you personally Hxrdcore, but everyone.
Perhaps we're just advertising the server to the wrong crowed of people. Just as you wouldn't go to a Star Trek convention to sell Star Wars merchandise.
