I know, thats the shitty part, and tbh i quit for a long time because of the XP rate being so slow and not being attractive to a larger portion of the private server playerbase, but now I'm back
and have been playing quite actively, I mean 2x xp literally means you progress two times as quick as OSRS, which is heaps in the grand scheme.

I do see where everyone is coming from, and do hope in the future they will add a second world on 4x or 8x xp, something like that, nothing too fast as it would take away from the point of a remake, I believe it would have a thriving player base, as ScapeRune is a very well crafted remake, as-well as being exactly what anyone who is looking for a remake server would be looking for.
The "waiting for advertisement until further completion" thing does seem like a big excuse at this point as there is tons of content and people willing to donate to have a more active community.

Either way, I'll be sticking around, hopefully one day this project will launch of the ground and go somewhere, as it has great potential, and although the community is quite small right now, its a pretty great one.
