Spoiler for patches-9th-10th april:

Warriors Guild is now fixed. Properly drops Defenders (with a 20% chance) and Cyclopses have proper drops.
Fixed the login issue which some players were experiencing.
Fixed the region clipping system. Could still use some work to be honest but it will do for now.
Adjusted all experience rates for all skills, should be fine now.
Fixed the Rune/Pure essence mine, players couldn't walk around in there.
Modified the amount of experience a player would receive from Nomad's Zeal shop for the following skills: Prayer, Slayer to 20.000 instead of 60.000, it was simply too much for those skills.
Made Gnome Agility Course give 3 Agility tickets instead of 1. Will buff the other courses this weekend.
Added up to Dragon hatchets/pickaxes in their proper skilling master's shop.
Made Firemaking properly clip and not walk through objects.
Added H.A.M Camp training option in Thieving teleports (requires level 20 Thieving)!
Added a Crystal chest in Explorer Jack's house.
Made Crystal key's examination say that it unlocks a mysterious chest found in Explorer Jack's house.
Fixed three dupes. One was with arrows/bolts and one was with trading/duel. The third one was with dropping an item then spamclicking it to retreive multiple copies of it. Honestly, I don't think there are any more to be found.
Fixed a bank issue; when a player would withdraw more than three unstackable items with a full inventory, it would spawn them all on the ground.
Fixed the trade issue where it kept closing once you clicked on the accept button.
Made players able to forge Crystal keys.
Made players able to forge Dragonfire shields with a Crafting level of at least 85.
Made players able to forge Dragon Square shields with a Crafting level of at least 65.
Made players able to forge Spirit shields with proper requirements taken from Runescape's wiki page (can't list them all here!).
Fixed the Recipe for Disaster chest (Culinaromancer's chest).
Nerfed the Barrows minigame reward. The amount of runes you received was ridiculous.
Made players able to fix broken Barrows equipment by talking to the odd man which is walking around on the hills.
Made broken Barrows equipment untradeable and unsellable.
Made most Donator items (Partyhats, H'weens) unsellable to make sure no money is added into the economy from donations. You can still sell these items to players!

Wrote a SQL system to handle our Webshop. Also then later added a Highscores system which uses this system. The system has a fail-safe. If the server is unable to create to the highscores, it will reattempt up to 5 times. If it continues to fail, it will completely turn the system off until the server is restarted.
Made Pest control give 10 Commendations instead of 5 to promote it.
Made players who are inactive in Pest control not receive any points.
Made costumes from the Loyalty shop untradeablle and unsellable.
Fixed an issue where NPC's with longer walk distances than 1 would still follow you and get next to you in Melee distance.
Added Member rank features.
Players suggested the following commands: 'changepassword', 'resetattack', 'resetstrength', 'resetdefence', 'resetranged', 'resetmagic', 'resetprayer', 'resetconstitution' and they have all been added.
Fixed tons of dialogues. Added more proper animations etc.
Being able to use Prayers below the level requirements should be fixed now.
I'm actually pretty sure we did more than this, I just cannot remember more... I don't have the greatest memory .

Spoiler for Patch notes 11th of April:

Mining has been completely rewritten. Now has a good formula for delays etc.
Woodcutting has been completely rewritten. Uses same formula as for Mining. Now has stump support.
Grounditem system has been completely rewritten because the old one was so buggy. It's now easier for us to optimize grounditems aswell.
Items kept on death system has been rewritten. It should now be saving your three most valuable items.
While we were fixing items kept on death, we figured that it is stupid to take up one of your kept items slot with an untradeable item, so from this patch and on, ALL UNTRADEABLE ITEMS ARE KEPT ON DEATH AUTOMATICALLY. They will appear in your inventory after death along with other possible kept items.
If you die in Barrows, all your items will be lost (except for the ones you will keep) and a gravestone WILL NOT SPAWN. The player is given a warning-dialogue upon teleporting there.
I heard all the complaints about people having a hard time finding a bank, so we spawned a bunch of them at home. Please give us your opinion about how it looks.
A bug was causing Diamond members not to receive the Infinity Prayer feature from the Platinum rank, this has been fixed.
Buffed the amount of XP a player is given from Slayer tasks by Vannaka (still haven't added any other masters).
Dharok's armour effect has been nerfed and adjusted to fit the Runescape formula more.
Guthan's armour effect has been added.
NPC's now regenerate 100 health per second if not attacked for 4.5 seconds. They must be below their maximum Constitution though.
Tons of prices were slightly modified.
We took a close look at money-making methods and realised that Barrows was just too overpowered, so we've nerfed it down a bit. I hope people post their feedback about Barrows, we must make sure that it is balanced with skilling and other money making ways.
There was also a new client release (V1.2) and it was a quick release because we wanted to change the cache host, because new players were saying it took too long to load. I also did the following updates;

Changed the cache host. The new one should be faster.
Fixed the Moderator & Helper crown with the new client.
Fixed the Pest control Consumables interface with the new client. Still need to finish it, all I did was to add the buttons on the interface.
Added a packet which allows us to change the player's plane, which we used to fix objects spawning on different heights than the one which the player is currently on (it was doing this once a player teleport to the Member's zone for example!).
If a player attempts to login while the server is launching, they will get the following as an error message: "Desolace is currently launching, please try in half a minute.". This is to prevent players from logging in while server is launching, giving them a black screen which may lead to them restarting the client (since they think they're 'nulled').

Spoiler for Patch notes 12th April:

Achievement/task changes:
Achievement interface fixed. It was showing up and then being closed immidetaly without players being able to read what's on them.
Achievement task 8 can now be finished (Beginner, 'You can bank on us', in Lumbridge castle).
Achievement task 7 can now be finished (Easy, 'Kill a cow for its hide.', in Lumbridge). Players were unable to go through the gate.
Skill changes:
Added a quick system for canceling skilling when players: Move, teleport and or interact in combat.
Gem cutting has been updated. Should now work perfectly fine.
Buffed Smithing XP.
Buffed Slayer XP.
Buffed Woodcutting XP.
Buffed Fletching XP.
Buffed Mining XP a bit (for higher level-requirement ores).
Buffed Summoning XP a little bit. We want this skill to be one of these skills that help remove some money from the economy with the low experience rate and amount of valuable items required to train.
Fixed some Smithing items, for example, 10 Bolts are now given instead of 1 when smithing bars above Bronze. It used to give 1.
Herblore is now trainable. You can buy ingrdients from the Druid Spirit. Note: The shop only has items that cannot be gained ingame, for example: Limpwurt root is not in the shop because you can kill Hill giants for it. We want this to be a hard and tough skill due to the amount of money you can make from it.
Fishing is now trainable.
There are now 2 Bank chests in the house at the Piscatoris Fishing Colony.
Woodcutting Bird nests can now be searched (Bird's egg will get price values added next patch).
Lowered the amount of time it took to mine ore.
Lowered the amount of time it took to cut some trees.
Thieving master is now properly added.
The Master's chest (Thieving) now grants 46 NOTED Mithril ores instead of unnoted ones.
After alching an item, the client now sets the tab back to the Magic tab properly.
Untradeable/unsellable items can no longer be alched.

Equipment changes:
Pantaloons & Void knight robe bottom have been fixed to go in their proper slot.
Inventory changes:
If you have a full inventory and are to receive an item, it will now properly spawn it in the ground. This was messed up since we changed the groundsystem in the last patch. It works now though.

Economic/other changes:
Ancient Effigies are now untradeable and unsellable.
Almost every single item in the Member's shop is now unsellable and has a value of 0 coins. You can still trade these items but they show no value in trade!
All Brackish Blades have been removed from the game and made unsellable & untradeable. Their price has been changed to one million coins and they can be bought from Nomad after completing his quest. The reason for this price change is because the weapon is stronger than a Abyssal Whip, which has a high price aswell.
Minigame/Mini-Quest changes:
Players should no longer lose items in Tzhaar Fight Caves or Tzhaar Fight Pits.
Players can now go back and pick up their items if they die in Recipe for Disaster.
All 'Consumable' rewards from Pest Control Rewards shop can now be bought and used properly.
Pest Control now rewards a player with 3 Commendations per victory (instead of 10 which was way too much).
The amount of effort a player must have in a Pest control game to be rewarded for a victory has been increased.
Prayers/Curses changes:
All Prayers & Curses now have proper requirements. They weren't using the * 10 system. Which means, a player was able to use Piety with level 7 Prayer instead of 70.
Smite is now functioning properly. It had an issue when you were trying to toggle it off or on. Even when you didn't have the requirement for it.
Clan chat changes:
'Desolace' Clan chat has been disabled. We want to encourage people to create their own clan chat channels instead. However, the main reason for this is because it wasn't working too well. When all players on the server was in the same clan chat, it became like a yell channel.
Teleport changes:
Catherby teleport has been disabled (will be re-enabled in Desolace V1.3)
Chaos Tunnels teleport has been disabled (will be re-enabled in Desolace V1.3).
Loyalty Programme changes:
The 'title-change' bug that was occuring when players were buying a costume has been fixed.
Potion changes:
Overload potions now properly deal 100 damage 5 times for a duration of 5 seconds.
Super energy potions added to the game and they restore 40% energy.
Mint cakes added to the game and they restore 100% energy.
NPC(Non-player-character) changes:
Some bosses were buffed because players were able to solo them too easily, when the idea of some of them were to be a team-boss.. We will monitor bosses very closely in the next few days to make sure the incomes for NPC-killing is not greater than other money-making ways.
NPC's facing directions are now properly set when entering a new region.

Spoiler for April 13th patch notes:

Pest control's core system has been rewritten because it was just horribly done and it was also consuming so much more recources than needed. Some players were even complaining about the lag that they were experiencing on the island.. This should now be working perfectly fine.
I rewrote the Combat damage handler. Why? Because Defence levels weren't doing any difference to damage and when I was going to fix it, I decided to just rewrite the formula system. So I've spent 8 hours today redoing our formula-handling for every combat type but NPC vs NPC. This means that your Summoning familiar will only hit 0s till we finish adding a proper NPC vs NPC formula. Please note: We've modified every formula to make sure that Defence levels are properly inherited in the calculations, so please make sure to report any NPC's that have too high Defence levels. Also please go try PKing, box-dueling etc etc and give us feedback so that we can improve the combat system. It's really important for this to be perfect! Note2: The critical hit damage system should now be working properly. It should now show a critical icon when you do more or equal to 6% damage under your maxhit.
We've moved the website to the dedicated server. There was a lot of disconnection issues today, and that's a rare thing on Desolace because our core server is very stable. Just want to let you guys know that the disconnections had nothing to do with the server, we were simply moving the website to our dedicated server so that we can host it ourselves and not having to be worried about our webhost messing up and giving us downtime.
Some bosses were hardcore buffed to make sure that only teams can take them on.
Some prices and NPC drops have been changed. For example, Brackish blade's price has been changed to 5 million coins to compensate for it's strength with the new combat damage formulas.
Some bugs have been fixed. For example, players were unable to use Adamant armour on the Warrior guild animator.
Dragonfire shield now requires 90 Smithing to forge, instead of 82 Crafting.

Spoiler for Patch Notes 14Th - 19Th april:

The things that have changed/been added in this release:
Client changes:
Client now has an icon instead of the Java one. We will update this icon soon, the current one is just temporarly being used.
You can now toggle the censor off or on by using the new ::censor command.
Fixed Administrator crowns, they were showing Moderator crowns instead.
Fixed some broken maps: Catherby, Chaos Tunnels
Added right-click options to some NPC's at home (this was suggested by a player!)
Server changes:
Fight caves now start at wave 31.
An easy minigame was added, it's called 'Conquest' and you basically just kill monsters in waves for points which can be spent on items such as Fighter Torso. More waves to this minigame will be added in the future.
Pest Control has been fixed and should no longer stop working after some time.
Moved most major NPC's to home training house. Also removed some Spiders that were randomly placed.
Mass respawn issue at Puro Puro should be fixed. This was caused by players catching the imp at the same time.
Fletching is now re-enabled and Catherby teleported is no longer disabled.
Chaos tunnels are no longer disabled. We will work on completing the full dungeon soon with all NPC's. Once that is done, the NPC's will be available to get as Slayer tasks.
All lent items are now untradeable and I've fixed tons of issues with them.
All Clue scrolls are now untradeable.
You can now only get a clue scroll if you don't have one in your bank/inventory as drop.
Players can no longer Fish on shores.
Fixed the issue where people were putting spaces in the start of their names to become someone else, for example, people were making accounts with the name ' Gabbe' which would become 'Gabbe'. I fixed it by making it so that player accounts cannot start with a space.

Spoiler for Patch Notes 21st april:

Impling respawn timers have been increased, especially for Kingly implings and Dragon implings. They were just too overpowered.
I was notified about two huge bugs with the drop system, if a player dropped a shark somewhere, and another player dropped a shark aswell on the same spot, one of them wouldn't be able to pick the item back up. The other bug was that if a player dropped two items of the same sort on the same spot, one of them would dissapear.
Blood Necklace's stats have been nerfed. It was stronger than an Amulet of Fury, which isn't very logical considering it's in a shop for only 200k.
Dragon claws now require a level of at least 60 Attack to wield.
Vengeance timer now saves on log out.
Aid timer now saves on log out. You could aid someone by for example transfering hitpoints, and then relog to do it over and over again.
Dream spell has been nerfed. It was healing 12 Constitution per second, which was just too much. It now heals 3 Constitution per second.
Autocast is now properly reset when changing spell books.
Dwarf multi cannon can no longer be used at the following locations: Recipe for Disaster minigame, Fight caves minigame, Pest control minigame, Corporeal Beast's lair, Godwars dungeon and whilst inside the Soul wars minigame.
Dwarf multi cannon can no longer apply player item/prayer effects whilst dealing damage to a target.
Dwarf multi cannon no longer closes all interfaces when dealing damage to a target.
Dwarf multi cannon no longer makes sounds unless you're close to it.
Cooking has been fixed, you can no longer spam the options to start cooking many times in a row.
When attempting to cook a fish, you should no longer walk away from the object.
Bandos godsword's Special attack has been nerfed. It was draining player's stats by more than hundreds. It now uses a formula equal to Runescape pre-EOC.
Staff of Light's Special attack now properly fades away after circa 2 minutes, or when de-equipping the staff.
Bounty hunter/PvP system has been fixed. Bounty hunter now properly has a chance to drop a statuette which can be sold to Mandrith. Target percentage increase delay/timer has been buffed to encourage more people to try it out.
Fixed a bug related to custom shops where players were able to buy multiple items whilst only paying for one of them.

Updates to expect when I'm back from Italy:
100% Godwars dungeon with Nex, killcount system and much more.
Chaos tunnels will be finished > more new Slayer tasks
100% Ancient Cavern dungeon with Mithril dragons and much more. This means that the Kuradel Slayer master will be added with epic Slayer tasks.
Tons of bug fixes; I'll make sure that Desolace is bugfree

Spoiler for 22nd - 30th patch notes:

NPC's walking-home system has been improved and perfected. It now has pathfinding, meaning that NPC's will walk around objects etc to get back to their spawn location. I'm still keeping the anti-safespot thing though.
Player & NPC updating and processing has been improved. This means that there should no longer be issues where you can't see some animations/graphics/chat messages over head etc etc.
Ground items pickup delay has been fixed. You now must wait at least a half second per click to loot an item.
Thieving pickpocketing distance check fixed. It will no longer pickpocket an NPC's pocket if you're more than one square away from the NPC.
Zamorak, Saradomin and Guthix bow (Godbow rewards from Ranging guild) have been buffed. Fixed stats on them, and also made them shoot as fast as a Magic shortbow. They deal more damage though. Fixed shoot animations.
You can now fail to pickpocket an npc, and if you do so, the NPC will deal damage to you.
Server performance improved.
The Shop system has been completely rewritten, I did this while I was tired on the plane back to Sweden so you might find some small bugs in the near future. Don't worry, they'll be fixed within an hour! The new system is much better than the previous one because not only is it easier for us developers to manage (we can add empty items in the shop) but it's also much more secure etc.
The stockholder was removed from shops.
The price checker is no longer available while a skilling-event-action is/has-been active. For example: You cannot price check gems while cutting them anymore.
Fishing now has a delay added to all Fishing types.
The teleport lag/freeze which occured sometimes has been fixed.
Clan chat data now saves properly.

Spoiler for 1st - 4th of may updates\patch notes:

Created a region system. Basically all it does is divide the game map into small pieces, and every single piece has a list of players/npcs. This allows us to easier access players or npcs from a certain region or map area. For example, before, if we wanted to make a boss hit every player in the room, we would have to go through every single Nplayer on the world and check the distance to the boss, but now we just go through the region's players. Obviously this should reduce some serious lag. Oh and, this is used for things such as despawning barrow brothers/animated armour in Warriors guild once the player leaves the area aswell. So I think that there should no longer be issues where the spawns remain spawned even though the player isn't there.
Godwars Dungeon has finally been released. Check it out! (Note: Nex is not in this update, it will come out once we make sure the other gods are working properly!)
Added Mithril Grapple and Rope to Explorer Jack's shop.
Increased Combat experience rates by tons, and some skilling such as Fishing Raw shark.
I looked into the issue where players were mass spamming objects and other stuff whilst teleporting to noclip through the map and attempted a hot-fix. I hope that it is fixed now.
Pest Control should now be working again.
Soul Wars is currently disabled due to the amount of bugs it had. I'll rewrite it once we get the important bugs out of the way.
Tons of prices modified.
Tons of item equipment requirements fixed.
Tons of small bugs fixed.
Experience rates have been modified heavily.
Frequent skilling item's prices have been increased a bit.
Frequent NPC drop's prices have been increased a bit.
Starter kit has been changed; 150k coins and 500 Salmons would be the biggest change. Warning: we've added a lot of anti-transferring systems. If a player is found creating mulitple accounts just to transfer items, the accounts will be banned and the IP will become blacklisted.
A player is now only able to receive a maximum of two starter kits from the same IP connection.
Since Soul Wars was temporarily disabled and I was very bored this morning, I started working on the Fishing Trawler minigame. If you don't know what it is: basically you just keep the ship from sinking. The reward is random raw fish such as Mantaray/lobsters etc. I added this because there was no way to get Mantarays, and many people wanted them.
Added a teleport to Fishing Trawler in the Fishing skill-options.
Fixed an issue where players couldn't pick up a stackable item with a full inventory, even if they had one of the stackable item in inventory already.
Fixed an issue where grounditems that were spawned because a player's inventory was full, was being duplicated. I'm surprised I found this before everyone else hah.
Fixed the 'thing' where people would just note unsellable items to sell them.
Added proper animations to Lumbridge NPC's such as Cows, Chickens and Goblins.
Removed the 'This NPC is currently not attackable.' error message. It was simply a anti-safespotting thing. It was a cheap hax, and I hate cheap haxes. I'll monitor safespotting of NPC's and see how it needs to be changed.
Fixed a lot of small issues that were reported on the forums.
Increased the delay of how long potions last.
Upgraded the level-up graphics.
Made the Magical orb only usable while in Lumbridge.
Redid the region system which I added a few days ago, and removed it for NPC's as it isn't exactly needed because I found a better way to handle it.
Fixed an issue where combat hits wouldn't show up sometimes.
Fixed an issue with player and npc updating.
Redid the Summoning familiar system. A familiar should now follow the owner flawlessly. It should also dissapear when you go to places they aren't allowed to be (for example, Duel arena).
Added a VPN/Proxy blocker. You should not be able to login with one from now on. If you are able to get online with a proxy or VPN, please send me a PM with the software's name so that I can manually block it.
Started working on Farming; it's about 80% complete.
Changed/fixed some experience rates.
Improved the NPC's walking home system.
Players now get the same warning message which is in Barrows when they teleport to Godwars dungeon (that the area is cursed and that a gravestone is not created on death).

Spoiler for patch notes 5th - 6th of may:

A new client has been released. This is still V1.5, but it was a hotfix to remove all doors since our doors barely function anyway.
Changed home to Edgeville, since the most people wanted it.
Changed Member shop prices, some were too high and some were too low.
Increased Korasi's sword's damage, it can now hit up to 750s.
Changed the tutorial and it now shows Chaos druids as an example of low-level money making.
Redone NPC facing on region change.
NPC's no longer face you 24/7 when you talk to them, but only face you once and then stop.
Disabled Dwarf Multi Cannon in Godwars dungeon.
