Coders would advise you use old shit, but players want the new shit, all depends on what you want i guess.

TBH,
Players wanna play.
Coders on Rune-Server look into as 'Oh that shits easy to do' 'OMFG that object is easy to move'
Player won't look into your servers code, it's how it looks from the outside.
Just keep it up, try fixing up the major problems that a DSPK has, don't listen to the haters.

IMO this will turn out as something good, so far I like how the forum is.
