Hello and I would like to thank all the Alpha testers that really help make StoneScape a nearly bug free place. Before I give you information about StoneScape. Let me explain it to those who DONT KNOW what StoneScape is about.

StoneScape does not have 50 stores provided all the items in the world
Why: I believe that players should trade among themselves. By doing so not only do you make it a truly multiplayer game, but also build up a strong economy. Thus StoneScape only has 1 store, which has tools needed to do skills, thats it.

It will not take you 1 day to Max out a character
Why: I again believe a certain challenge must exist. If you can max out within a week whats the point, everyone will be the same then. Although in this version of stonescape I increased the exp given to help pkers along.

StoneScape has original Ideas
Why: The entire server was coded from nearly scratch less then a week ago, and yet we have packed many features within. This wont be your adverage server, which is why not everyone will like it. It is ment to be different and stand out.

Does not allow 1-Itemers, Teleporters, etc
Why: StoneScape requires that you risk a disk of return when you pk, which is valued at 25k (Quite a bit in stonescape) So if you die, no matter what you will ALWAYS drop the disk of returning.

StoneScape does not have 100s of botters
Why: AntiCheat V2 is a very comprehensive antibot that really detects bots and punishes them. We have a VERY VERY strict permaban policy.

StoneScape doesn't allow rude individuals
Why: I believe StoneScape should have a peaceful environment. Cursing (in a rude way), being rude, disrespectful, insulting to other members will get you muted or banned depending on what you did. If you scam you will be permabanned no questions asked.

StoneScape DOES listen to your suggestions
Why: I want this server to be a reflection of the community desires. It is still in BETA which means it has plenty of room to improve. Instead of saying "Oh this server is a piece of shit" tell me what you wish to see in the server. Atleast 80% of updates were either user contributed or contained modifications users submitted. So please post on the forums with your suggestion. Infact guests can post on the suggestion forum, so there should be no excuse.

StoneScape DOES NOT require any special client
Why: I want to make it easy for anyone to just pickup and play stonescape on whatever they choose.

So if your looking for a server with a few skills, moderate exp and lots of challanges, StoneScape is the right server for you.

Now here are future planned updates that should be done by the end of next week:
-A pking level, which will replace the wildy combat levels, that way rather then just judging by combat it actually judges by the skill of the pker.
-More fish for fishing
-Ability to smith items.

How to I thieve?
-Simple buy some lock picks from Aubury, and use the picks on the chests, The first and second chests are the ones currently working. Note: The higher level you get the better items you get.

Where do I get bait for fishing?
-Buy them from players, or kill gnomes and get them.

What makes your pking special?
-Unlike any other server, in this server not only are you required to carry a disk of returning, but also when you attack your opponent sometimes they go into shock thus preventing them from running away. So really it prevents runners, 1 itemers, teleporters, etc.

I have a suggestion/complaint
-DO NOT tell me about it, instead post it on the forums so I can organize my thoughts.

There is a person breaking the rules
-USE THE REPORT ABUSE BUTTON. By doing so you not only enable their logs to be saved, but also it signals the mods and admins which can teleport to that person and deal with the issue.

Can I be mod/admin
-If you preform good you will earn mod. Nobody besides me will ever earn admin. If you ask me though it really lower your chances. Instead just be nice, remember I often read the logs so I know who is a good person and not.

REMEMBER: IT WILL BE OFF UNTIL 12:00 EST

AT 12:01 EST THE DROP PARTY WILL BEGIN, if you are NOT logged on the server at 12:01 EST you will not get a single item. Once all items have been picked up I shall disable the party mode so people can begin training and what not
