The code in snippets/tutorials is shit most of the time, and should only really be used as a reference for ids or something, so no point really in converting. - as I dont think u can make an autoconverter for shit code -> good code

the point i'm making is as such, if i take trash from a bag made by hefty and put it into a bag made by glad, in the end it is still trash. No matter how it goes its still bad, and that is by no means me saying i can make a better framework than the ones that already exist but they don't run very well and aren't particularly well written i'm sure for many reasons i am not even aware of. maybe if you do post some pictures it might help me to understand more and i might have a different point of view but i think enabling the people that don't know how to convert from base to base (which is honestly not that hard with a little digging into each set of code) isn't going to help the community as a whole grow, which i believe was your point to begin with. Enabling those people only breeds more people not willing to put in the effort to learn and will settle for mediocre code that they don't understand why it is or is not working. Don't take this the wrong way, i'm not attempting to bash on you or your thread in any way i just want to give honest thoughts, i think its fantastic that people wanna help out the community but if we want to create more intelligent contributors enabling them with tools that they do not understand might not be the best way. That's targeted specifically at the people who are either new to this scene or don't want to put in any effort. For those people who are able to do this in the first place they are probably capable of developing their own code that works better with their own framework anyways. Would love to see the pictures tho, regardless of my opinion at least you want to contribute to the community in some way and i appreciate that, bravo zulu my friend and good luck! =)
EDIT: Sorry for the essay there, i got a little carried away haha..

Thank you for giving me productive insight. I appreciate it. I agree completely, it is easy and takes a little time to read the rest of the code to switch it. Using this, they will still have to put some effort in. They will have to do some research into their bases so they can manually input some of the "RENAMES".
I agree, most code (including my own, but I don't believe in optimization until the code works, just my own way), but does that mean that people shouldn't be able to use it? If it works, it works. If I grab the trivia bot snippet for PI, but I'm using ruse, I have to switch it over. Lets say that I'm only grabbing it because MY polls say my players want something similar. I'm working on a major content update, and I don't have time to sit down and write or re-write a trivia bot class (I work, and am a father.) I take it, copy paste it into the tool, do the few manual inputs I might need to do, implement it, set a todo due date for optimization, and go back to trying to finish my unique content.
Not worth it
Well for example as said above most of the snippets and tuts are shit. Also if there was such tool it wouldn't help anyone in terms of learning but would just leechers who don't know or want to learn programming at all. And overall it would take quite long to make it actually work properly so.
You have a very valid point. I had not thought of that, but I also wasn't sure if I was even going to make it. I played around a bit and got a few things done before I went to jail (3 year old warrants), I just got out of jail after a week, a few hours ago. While on the in, I decided hardcore against such a thing. It will not allow anything good to come to the communities. I may continue to develop such a thing for personal use, but no more or no less. I believe it is in the best for the community to not have such a thing, but instead teach people how to do so. I appreciate all the responses I have gotten, and have taken them all into account hence forth.
Could be really useful for someone, would be interesting to see this working
Could be very useful! I'd like to see where this goes.
