    I'm not sure how one could be faster than the other, but IMO JSON is more suited for more complicated data structures--it really depends on the task at hand.

    If I need something that uses a complex array, JSON
    If I need something that has properties, XML
    If I need a table of data with only a few columns, CSV
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
