    After seeing [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and expecting it to be a place for us to discuss new combat content, I was sad that it wasn't, so I decided to make a thread for it.

    Does anyone have any custom combat content ideas? For example boss mechanics, one off the top of my head would be a boss that switches your position with another local players, a boss that turns you into a chicken and limits your combat abilities, a boss that turns you into it's minion and you're mind controlled and attack friendly players, etc.

    Anyone got any other interesting suggestions?

    Being able to throw your weapon at someone, thus knocking them out for 5 seconds.

    I was working on a mini-game which involved the NPC's Tarn & Mutant tarn, it required a team of 5.

    The NPC 'Tarn' in it's ghost form would be able to take over an player making them able to attack anybody in Tarns lair (this lasted un-till over 100 damage had been dealt to players or the host's body had died.) this was his best attack in this form, although his second form was much more vicious.

    The second form known as 'Mutant Tarn' was able to hit the floor and stun anybody in a 10 square radius, any player that was court was dealt constant damage of 5 for 10 seconds (for each damage of 5 done to the player(s) he would receive 2 hitpoints back.), his second unique attack would be draining a players Attack/Strength/Defence depending on it's level, it's level would be halved.

    At half HP he would use his main special which hit all players for 50% of there current health, so if Player A was 90/99 HP he'd be dealt 45 etc

    Although, I abandoned the minigame after realizing how hard for low level it was.

    I don't at all understand why anyone would want to change the combat system, including Jagex on this matter.

    nobody said anything about changing the combat system, these are custom mechanics for different fights, within the limitations of the current combat system

    Imo, just from going over your idea's etc it just seems like dungeoneering.

    oo i like the idea of slows, forcing people to walk and disable their running for 10 seconds etc
    Saggitare, ranging boss in dungeoneering. You either walk, if praying mage or get frozen for praying range.
