smart NPCs;
- PKing
- Eating
- Following
- Walking
- Switching (when in combat)
- Talking
Now for all you people wondering what the list is for, well i came up with something small to share with the community. Just an idea of creating full contact NPC's through out a server. Now having these would improve gameplay by ALOT, you organize the NPC by spawning regions, the NPC randomly spawns and interacts with everyone in that region. Whether it is PKing in the wild (PvM full support, with eating and switching, then drops what is in the inventory and what the NPC is wearing) or whether the NPC spawns when killing dragons then NPC vs NPC and it interacts with the player.
Involving "SMART" Npc's into the game will give it a different dimension for players to pay attention to what they are doing. We can go about on all the different kinds of features and what not these NPC's have, which is fine. But the basic idea is to improve gameplay for members. Giving the whole NPC interaction with players would be valuable to smaller communities as well as bigger ones.
Ideas? Feedback? please give them all. no spam/unneeded content. it will be reported.

This would be tough. It would take a lot of dedication to make if you ask me. I like the idea, it is good, and if you ever make it, then your server could probably be one of the greatest. If not then you could definitely sell it for quite a bit. I have heard of a couple servers that have NPCs that eat, but the virtual inventory would be tough to create (the system would probably want to fill the whole inventory with random items from your spawn table/list). Following would be pointless in my opinion unless it was in combat. But being able to follow it would be awesome. Talking would be beyond amazing to see as you would have to make the server understand how people talk to make its responses actually make sense. Switching would be somewhat hard but would be amazing. If you re going to work on this, then good luck with it. When you actually get it, post it in the show off section. I'd love to see it haha.

No, just a general NPC system that generates population and features toward the server.. You are running in edgy in level 3-4 wild, a NPC pker appears and you either run from him or fight him. it would contain eating when health is below 20-30 something based on teh system, it would use special attacks, it switches to other weapons to combo you. and the inventory would be based on what type of pker is spawned, range: pots/food (only 28 spaces).
The community type of NPCS are ones that actually play the game sort of, like ones that steal from your inventory. items value under 50k or so..
the fact that people still haven't figured out how to do following and walking is crazy.
the problem is everyone knows about the problems you just posted, just people don't know/care enough to implement these kinds of things.
The title is misleading lol.
