Well it seems private servers are always our there at the moment. Many just being leeched and not edited but you find the odd one now and then with great features and coding.
You decide though if you think it will be around or dead in 5 years.

I don't think they will be around. They were good about 2 years ago but when people started stealing stuff, abusing powers, and crashing servers for their own gain Private servers started to go down hill. I don't play them anymore because they arn't what they used to be they used to be fun and about gaining skill levels faster then normal...now they are all about pking and who is the most powerfull.
Not if you guy are going to use the Silabsoft client, they will be ruined within a short time then.

Mr. Halo your right it alot of ways like your school no-one plays runescape any more they play private servers they have been playing for 2 years and they got sick of it all the training and money mking then they decdied to go into private server. MY POINT IS AFTER ALL THAT TALK THAT PRIVATE SERVERS WILL BE OUT LONGER THEN RUNESCAPE THERE WILL BE MAYBE MORE THEN 100 SERVES THAT WILL BE BETTER THEN RUNECAPE ANYWAY THAT I GOT TO SAY ROFL
Thats not a fact, you git. The fact that your whole school played it, and now they don't, just means your school has lost interest. Thats doesn't mean everywhere else in the world has lost interest. Many new people would've joined in the time your school friends quit.Quote:
