Better idea that won't make noobs freak when they see they get less than 1k as a starter: Give them like 50k shop credits. (Points not an item)

Integrate you're server to you're forums so that you must make a account on the forums in order to play, and only two accounts max per email.

Don't overpower the starter.

Im not sure if you would be able to do this but?
How about screw 2 connections by ip.
And make it 2 accounts an ip.
That way, if pepole claim to have a "Brother" then there brother can make an account to, and if they do transfer starter, they will be unable to do it again.
Exactly so the basic idea of it all is giving then 3 bronze pieces, and 1k. and to receive the rest of the starter they must complete the starter challenge.
No not even close, what im basically doing is providing the player with a bronze sword, and shield and 10 trout and 1k gp, they can play the game, there is no tutorial island they are free to play, but in order to get a more advanced complete starter they must complete a mini-quest or a challenge, they are still able to play if they dont complete it but it will be a bit harder as the challenge will be long and worth doing, you will get 10k gp runes, arrows, etc.. if you complete the challenge. BUT you dont have to, to play the game, your still able to play the mini-quest or challenge is if you want to do it or not. you have a choice.

I know that it would be a choice judging by your previous post. However my statement still stands - it'd be somewhat like a tutorial island, however to get the starter it must be completed. Also people would try to auto this challenge just to trade it off to other accounts.
Yes people would go that far.
