Hey trees,
So I've been playing around with updating certain regions to higher revision maps. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is clipping / path finding. That may not be the right term but I will describe the issue I'm having.
Basically I load a 634 map region where a 317 used to be. The issue is that when I walk places, it still acts as if I am on the 317 maps. For example, in Edgeville I believe the well is in a slightly different place. I can't walk where the well was in the 317 maps even though it is several tiles over on the 634 maps. What changes should I make?

Of course. That is exactly what I did to find this folder. It references this mapdata folder as well as a map_index file which has a different extension than the actual .dat one that is in the cache.
Also, I may have been wrong about it thinking the objects are there from the previous maps. It seems like the pathfinding is just acting strange in general in the areas I've updated such as edge & varrock.
I don't think I would be able to determine that personally. I don't have much experience with this sort of thing and am currently trying to learn. I've done a bit of browsing through some of the files that I think are relevant, but haven't determined what the issue could be.
Here is a gif to better describe the issue I'm having: https://i.imgur.com/fBxpJkZ.gifv
i add the regions into what file inside the client, sorry never really worked with clients
Pack them in your cache either via Tom's Cache Suite or some form of Index Repacking.
