nothing at all just shows their true color :)

OT: its nice of you giving this much of information you have looked well into it but as a tutorial i would have made sections: so people can skip a lot without seeing 10k words :P people get fast bored by something called to much info for their goal when they think they wont need. if they need they will click their self for the info :)

I like how you showed the sword "clean" not to many faces also.

EDIT: if you color make sure you hold the difference not to big make it have slight changes don't go from dark immediately to light but do it by steps
just see the sword for what i mean i am bad in explaining :)

by this sword it looks like its glowing while its not. its just the colors that makes it look like its glowing. ( took me a long time to make it look like this)
