    There is a reason people are supposed to read a tutorial instead of just the title, his is a cachedownloader. Mine updates the actual desktop client, please, read before posting a completely idiotic comment such as that one.

    are you dumb? hope you know ppl only use webclient because their "desktop clients" get leeched

    I am at a loss for words, the fact that you can be so idiotic and fail to realize it. Since you seem to not understand how to keep your client from being leached, I will tell you. First you remove all Java files, then you would right click > properties > hide folder > ??????? > profit?!?!?!?!

    It extracts to where your Class files are, so it overwrites them; the location of the client stays the same.

    Would this work if a client was jar'ed "client.jar"? Like would it be able to update the class files inside the jar file? or it has to be in a folder?

    I guess the latter is correct.

    No, if it is in Jared format it won't work. You could probably edit the code to make it work for Jared format, but at the moment it doesn't.
