It's too much of a pain in the ass to repack sprites into the 317 cache. The way Andrew did it is horrible. Even if I did add it, you wouldn't be able to add many sprites in each archive. It's way better just to use the newer sprite packer I released.

Sprites is so horribly done in the 317 cache the only way to find the last sprite in the archive is to throw an exception to see if an error was caught. Jagex changed the way sprites were done not too far after 377. (That should tell you something)

    Open source

I wrote a rebuild script so if you want to modify it to make it a bit more user friendly so it replaces current cache & has correct loading percentage, feel free

Sorry for being a noob but what am I doing wrong when I'm trying to run it. I loaded it into eclipse and made an edit to one of the java files so I could save and compile. Then I ran it as an application and it could not find the main class. Upon looking at the App class it looks like an applet instead of an application, so maybe I should have ran it as an applet instead. But now the option is gone lol.

Also I have a bunch of random errors, using Java 1.7 in eclipse. I also tried to run it from the command line in Ubuntu by cding to the bin/io/nshusa folder and running java App.class and java cannot load it.

Thanks for this btw, I can't wait to get it working.

It's a gradle project so you'll need to install the gradle plugin for eclipse, import as a gradle project, add
    apply plugin: 'eclipse'
to the gradle.build then you'll be able to run it

Does ur format support sprite outlining for spellbooks? - currently I need to pack spellbook sprites to cache (using galkons sprite cache for external sprites)

+ also I think lins interface editor stops working if u use external sprites for interfaces. (though not using it for editing, just to look at some values)

Yes it should, haven't tested but my format doesn't change anything about your image data.
