    Hi i have made this a long time ago to use for cleaning peoples clients for my service.
    What this does is:
    Decompresses the models that were compressed into .dat & .idx to .dat files and afterwards gzips them so all you have to do is pack them in the cache with galkons index repacking methods.

    I have chosen to make it gzip them for ease of use and to motivate people to cache pack and not preload.

    Step #1
    Have the jar file in same location of the compressed models;

    Step #2
    Start the jar file; fill in the name of the file (without the file type); press decompress it will make a folder and now wait for a bit.

    Step #3
    When this message comes up its finished you can press OK and close the application.

    End product:

    I've found that using the model decompressor is just as bad as preloading.

    What? That doesn't really make sense... Preloading a file and decompressing a compressed file are two completely different things?

    Not exactly since every client I've seen calls the modelDecompressor on start up. Try it yourself. I remember back when I used to use it....my memory usage was stupid . Perhaps I'm getting confused with the ModelDecompressor class.
