    Any plans on doing that?
I have, i just havn't released a finish version, it's litteraly 99% done there are just a few small things wrong which if people read through will find out.

    Hmm.
So we could just basically follow this method for interfaces to do the same for objects, items, NPCs, and etc...?

Like ive said since people started hardcoding, yes.

Items, object's and npc's use 2 files though.

    The, ".dat" and ".idx".

The index file, ".idx" contains a number for each item, npc or whatever your using, for example if you have 100 items the size would be 200 which consists of 100 short's, each short is the length of the data to read in the ".dat" file, so if you have spaced out item id's for customs you have to write a 0 every time the item is blank so that it knows that it shouldn't read anything.
