Oops! I forgot to post this one when I finished it... So without further due I'm stoked to present "The Pokebattle Arena"
I created this one for NeilG as part of a fun collaboration for his [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
It took around 4-6 hours. It was way more time than I intended, but I'm sort of a perfectionist/OCD so I had to do my best. Cause why not?

I absolutely love your work my friend. I need to get a solid map idea together and get you to make it for me! :
You can see the small improvements to detail in each of your projects. Honestly jealous of Neil and anyone else who has great map ideas and has had you execute them.![]()
Thanks for your support dude! It's awesome to see others notice my progression because I'm definitely trying to do better each time. I'm slowly working my way up to more and more difficult designs.
If you happen to come up with an idea or would like to brainstorm one with me feel free to holler! I can work off a picture/drawing you might have or I can help design something based off an explanation.
DMM Map Update #3
Made some progress on the fort! There's multiple levels to it and fight arenas all through out it based on the most recent deadman tournament arenas. I decked this fortress inside and out with arenas + added objects that suite the theme to give the fort more character.
Here's how it works: If there are more than 64 players, all players will fight outside of the arena (1v1) until there are only 64 players remaining. At that point the remaining players will qualify for 1v1's inside the fort. All 64 players will be split up between the 32 arenas (6x6 in size) on the ground level 0 and level 1 of the fort. The 2nd round inside the fort will split 32 players up between only the 16 arenas on level 1 (the second level - 6x6 too). The 3rd round, 16 players will fight on top of the fort on level 2 within 8 arenas (7x7). The 4th round, the remaining 8 players will fight within 4 arenas on level 3 (7x7). On the 5th round, players will fight in only 2 of the 4 previous arenas (7x7). Finally, the remaining 2 players duke it out in the center arena on the top of the fort (8x8).
I still have an assortment of more objects to add and need to finish up the landscaping, but it's starting to come together!

Deadman Island
This is my take on a DMM-like tournament condensed into one island, stretching across 4 zones.
All in all, I probably spent about 24 hours over the past week working on this bad boy.
This was probably one of the most diverse projects yet. I used a lot of different techniques and built upon news skills too!
Also, it was my first attempt on an island and I gotta say I'm very happy with the results.
I did a lot of studying and pre-planning for this one by checking out existing RS maps.
I'm doing my best to make my creations looks like part of the game.
After completing this I feel very confident that I can pull just about anything off.

Spoiler for 3rd and 4th map view:
Details: Up to 64 players will be able to compete 1v1 within the fort as of right now. I defaulted to doing 6x6 sized arenas for both the bottom and second level with 16 arenas in each. If there are more than 64 players, all players will fight outside of the arena until there are 64 players remaining. At that point the remaining players will qualify for 1v1's inside the fort. All 64 players will be split up between the 32 arenas (6x6) on the ground level 0 and level 1 of the fort. The 2nd round inside the fort will split the players up between only the 16 arenas on level 1 (the second level)(6x6). The 3rd round, players will fight on top of the fort on level 2 within 8 arenas (7x7). The 4th round, the remaining 8 players will fight within 4 arenas on level 3 (7x7). On the 5th round, players will fight in only 2 of the 4 previous arenas (7x7). Finally, the remaining 2 players duke it out in the center arena on the top of the fort (8x8)
Thanks for following my journey - I'm not stopping there!![]()
"Shilo Edgeville" Project #7
Completed: 6/28/20
Details: This project was part of a re-vamp of an existing custom Edgeville home.
In total, I created 7 buildings/areas based on the customer's specifications.
These were the customer's requests:
- Change the overall look of the buildings to feel more custom without clutter.
- Combine the two Northern buildings into one.
- Re-create the bank to look more custom.
- Add a duel arena that looks similar to the original in the South.
- Add a gambling area next to the duel arena with a flower poker plot.
- Delete objects inside the Southern building with the caskets.
- Turn the Western hut into a PvP lobby area.
Spoiler for Examples I was given by the customer::

Spoiler for After::
Overall, I'm personally very pleased and so was my customer so I would say this was a success. I ended up spending way more time than I should have exploring different regions for the perfect objects to match. However, I'm sort of glad I did because it got a whole lot of cool ideas in my head for future projects. I'm really looking forward to continuing my map design journey and exploring cool new ideas each time!![]()
"Gerben's Rimmington" Project #8
Completed: 7/5/20
Details: The idea of this project was to keep the original design and theme of Rimmington, but turn it into a sort of island of its own. A large part of the design was based on the customer's requests
These were the customer's requests:
- Add a body of water to separate the Rimmington area from the mainland
- Expand the land on the Western coast
- Expand the Crafting Guild and the fence around it
- Expand the most Southwestern building
- Adjust landscaping of the trees (add more variety, but reduce amount)
- Add bank booth to the South building and expand the doorway 1 tile
- Add a townsquare with thieving stalls and a portal
- Delete all objects and walls inside of buildings so the customer can fill them himself

Love seeing these maps, we've come a long way since just spawning custom objects lol.
"Ahoy Donator Zone" Project #9
Completed: 7/15/20
Details: Features 3 areas for different levels of donator. One is shared since it's the lowest level of donator and the other two have barriers blocking them off. Per the customer's request I left the areas sort of empty for now so he can play around with the arrangement of monsters and other objects himself. I will later come in and fill in the remaining objects and will likely update this once I do so. Accompanied by these areas is also a skilling area for fishing, mining, thieving, and woodcutting.
