Fates Maps

hey guys i just wanted to make a showoff thread for some of my maps that i have made this isn't all of them but i wanted to highlight some of my better ones that i have made that aren't just underground caves or random bits of mostly empty terrain.

this is also part of my larger ongoing project to create a server with its own unique spin on runescape including its own map, large skill reworks, and core mechanic rebalancing. All to make the game a bit more about exploration and experimentation again. Meta is just to meta for me.....

I have only posted completed regions in this thread as of posting it there are regions connected to some of these that i have left out due to not being finished just check back on the thread at another time to see that stuff, i plan to update this thread semi-regularly

just to try it out i wanted to add in one of my biomes to see how interested people are in stuff that has no buildings or objects featured on it or isnt a rework of other parts of the game.
ps.objects turned invisible in order to show off the sheer amount of work that i put into shaping this landscape. it does have ground decoration and a bunch of other stuff on it tho

Spoiler for duel arena island::

this is my replacement for the massive duel arena in actual rs for a much smaller area that fits a bit better with the lore in my project. each of the circular pits are a seperate arena similar to the original but much smaller because all the extra space kinda isn't needed 95% finished only ground decoration and overlay edges left to do.

an island for penguins! an area that will be used in a low level quest and as a training area and gateway to other content. 99% done

a wip version of another of my biomes this time tho it is a swamp, this biome is a bit tedious to make but well worth it rn this region is about 80% done on landscape but only about 33% done on objects but i wanted to show it off anyway

Update 6/6/19 Main project Home island:

here is the rest of my home island that the giant castle is on and another shot of the castle in its completed form the previous pic was from months ago so i decided to update it. and also include pics for the other areas of the island that are notable.

Spoiler for 95% finished home island for my project::

the buildings are mostly decorated inside but not 100% finished, i also need to go around the island and do the water edge overlays and place some resource nodes in various spots but other than those and some minor stuff like adding ground decoration to the city and mountain sides of the island its done. but that stuff all together will take maybe another 1-2 hours work mostly spent to find the objects to place.

probably best custom map out there, could do with small tweaks as in objects for detail but v nice.

i'm always open to suggestions and ideas to improve my maps so lay it on meh if you have em. Also thanks i put a lot of time into my maps =)

Will be adding those to original post and i will post more updates in a week or two whenever i get around to updating thread.

Also thank you to everyone supporting my work both those who post on this thread or who are supporting through other channels such as discord. The kind words help and constructive criticism help a lot to keep me motivated, i'm always up to discussing possible improvements or ideas regarding mapping. and i am willing to help with others questions as well.
