After being inspired by Ashpire to re-do our welcome screen into a bit of a "lobby", I wanted to do a quick show-off of what I have so far. In this iteration, I aimed for a lobby styled welcome screen, that would remove the need for a launcher, and also provide a bit of a more attractive hub to see the newest updates, message friends, select a world,
and edit your client settings (beyond our OSKit settings, and in-game settings interface).
I used a lot of concept from the 667 lobby interface, and did my best to keep the colors and sprites in tune with each other. There's still some work to go, but basing most of the features off of what's already in the client will not be hard. (i.e clan chat, friends chat)
The update portion of it will auto-scroll/switch on a timer of 10 seconds, and you will also be able to select any of the slider buttons to re-view that slot.
Still to-do:
- Friends Chat container
- Clan Chat container
- Settings container

Looks nice!
Is that a typo btw? I believe it should be "blackmarks", not "backmarks".
I was held at gun point until I replied to this thread.
Nice.
Looks sick good job
I like the cut of your jib. I decided to make the containers more modular instead of just whacking random buttons on top of a random bar, and increased the transparency of the containers background. I also decided to remove the "box" that contained the container (lol) and aim for a more natural feel in the layout of the lobby. As an added flow to the whole thing, I increased the opacity for the inactive containers/icons. Your critique sparked some new creativity, and I thank you for that!
Looking good
