    So the editor I've been working on for a while is finally done.
    Features:
    • UI/Game drawing done with JavaFX
    • Overlay painting
    • Underlay painting
    • Tile height modifying
    • Object deleting
    • Object spawning
    • Swatches system
    • Object selection window
    • Tile selecting


    It's now functional to fully make custom maps. I still have plans to implement several features that make life easier, such as copying a set of selected tiles and saving them to a blueprint type file. Then I'll be able to place them into the world with ease.

    I also have to implement swatch saving, so I can easily make a set of swatches for a certain area style and save it, to use on different map regions.

    A world map view like my previous editor had to select regions.

    What do you think? I feel great now it's finally done.

    Edit: Source code allows for all data revisions that are loadable in 317. Currently loading OSRS maps.

    I might post a thread where people can request a few maps (that they design in some fashion) and I'll pick some to implement just to test it out.

    Also I forgot to mention in the OP that it can support all data revisions, have it loading OSRS at the moment.

    The problem with that is that floor underlays are defined as a config file so you only have a set amount of them. I might implement a different map format/loader in the near future that allows for a lot more flexibility.

    The amount of times I've been looking for a working map editor... Great job mate, respect if you do release it, would help out a lot of people.
