    Day and a half of work so far. Just finished up texture coordinates, which so far has been the hardest part about this. It may not look like much yet but with the software renderer disabled, fullscreen maintains 50 FPS where I would normally struggle to maintain 20. I haven't setup clicking yet which is why I have two client rendering (clicking through the original).

    OSRS World


    It's hard to see much difference as the changes are mostly just the fact the GPU is handling rendering, but if you look at shadows on the ground you can see blending happening.

    you're using opengl to draw 2d triangles, one at a time?

    For now yes, this is my first time using opengl and my current main priority was for FPS boosts for fullscreen. I still have a lot to learn and understand with opengl to really take full advantage of it.
