Ritz's not-named 317 client project

Hey guys,
i guess...first of all im Ritz, i know my post count is low, thats because this is my third account. i forgot the pass to my second account, and my first 1 got banned :$

Right, the client.

i will be using Galkons refactored base, mostly because im hopeless with custom sprite loading >.<.
My goal is just too make a good, stable 317 client, based on the current runescape client (562 i believe), with plenty of new and origional features along with not so new features such as...skillcapes and new interfaces which, have obviously allready been done.

Note: this thread is mainly a log for myself, and also to proove im not just a noob who leeches everything, shoves it into a client and calls himself '1337 programmer'.

Day 1 so..... nothing done really so far, looking through the client too see whats allready done then im gonna get started :)

Just got the 562 gameframe down, added the new tabs too (used galkons tut, but its not hard anyway...) Also added a Jframe that changes the colour of your name and chat text.

Got home from school about an hour ago, and ive just implemented a VERY basic saving system.
it saves to a .txt, but i can change that whenever.
i saves:
Username (it allways saves the last username you use, if you log in with "1" it will save that and overwrite if you log in with something different another time)
Password (as above)
Chat text colour (saves every time you change it)
Name colour (as above)


cant really post pictures for that.....

i've also made the hp orb work, near enough perfect. uses 10 images, 90-100%, 80-90% etc... text changes colour when health is 100% - 75% (green) 74%-50% (yellow) 49%-25% (orange) 25%-0% (red).

good luck so your changing the 317 client gameframe to a 562?

yep, allready done that (will post a pic in a sec). im also going to attempt dumping the interfaces from a 562 client, and some animations and moving GFX's like SWAT's (only looking into that atm, im still learning lmao)
