R-S Mod Response  What do you need?

    - Metasequoia.
    - Masterpalette.
    - A image.
    - Datmaker if you want to add it in game.

R-S Mod Response  Why I made this tutorial ?

A lot of people are asking me how to make their own "server" logo in mqo and implent it in game.
This tutorial will show you the basics how to do it.

R-S Mod Response  IMG to 3D TUTORIAL

    Spoiler for MQO SETUP:

    MQO SETUP

    - Open Masterpalette.mqo .

    - Open the Modeling(String) Menu.

    - Click on Display (Disp).

    - Turn on "Axes" & "YZ Plane" ( XY Plane is possible aswell, but I am using YZ for now).

    - Go to Edit Option and click on "snap".

    - Click on "Grid" and make the interval and the other things the same as I have in the image.

    Spoiler for START TUTORIAL:

    START TUTORIAL

    - Go the your Object panel, click "new" and call it "Model".

    - Go to the "Misc" category and click on "BkImg".

    - Click on "Load" and Choose a Image you want ( I Chose this logo because I already made it).

    - Make sure you place your image in the middle.

    - Go the the "Face" category and click on "Create"

    - You can use “Lines”, “Quads” & “Triangles” (If you use “Lines” or “Quads” make sure that you click on “Triangulate” when you are done.

    - Press F3 & Zoom In on the Image and add triangles on the colors of the LEFT SIDE of the image (just take your time and look how I have done it).

    - Now add the right side by doing this : Press CTRL+A & Click on "Selected" > "Mirror" (XY) and press "ok".

    - Now you have a left & right side.

Make sure to join the vertices of the 2 faces !

Option 1 - Select two vertices and press CTRL+J.

Option 2 - Select all faces (CTRL+A) and go to "OBJECT" > "Join Closed Vertices" & increase the distance a bit.

    - Add some colors ( Go to the "Face category and click on "Material" to add colors on the faces).

    - If you want to add text to it Go to "Object" > "Create" > "Create a Text".

or make it yourself (like I did).

    - Result:

Do you want to make it thicker?

    - Go to "Face" category & click on "Extrude" and keep it on "normal"

    - Press CTRL+A and Pull out the object. Now it looks like this(dont forget to click “Triangulate” after u did this part) :

Spoiler for Something Handy for PRI::

    - When you are making the PRI: make sure that you make the font 3 instead of 2 for example (it won't bug in game when you do that).

    Intersted in my showcase ?

great introductory guide. Shows alot of the basic ideas behind model making

just a few things to point out:
    1. dont have to have masterpal as thats only needed for PRI and TSKINS (if your model isnt going to be animated then you dont have to start with masterpal, datmaker will kinda do that for you). makes it easier to manage your materials if you are just getting into mqo and modeling
    2. mirror is very helpful but make sure you also join the vertex to make it one clean model, right now if you tried selecting the shield thing you'd only select half. If you joined the vertex then it would select the entire model (you will encounter this alot with swords just as i did when i started).
    3. dont forget to triangulate your model when you extrude, as extruding will more than likely create squares and we need triangles.

great guide overall, thanks for posting!
