I'm not entirely sure what causes this but I feel as though I am probably missing a relatively basic step...

    Problem?

    My process...
    Primitive > Create > Apply Material > Move > Triangulate > Export.

Basically everything to create a minimalist object and color it so the issue can actually be seen... Anyone happen to know what's wrong?

This is a very strange phenomenon I wonder what datmaker version are you using? Mine was from a thread that claimed it was the newer c version but the program displays b version :/
I do wonder if it was something in a update.

Runescape uses low poly models (or at least most do, depending on the revision.)

Try simplifying the object, I think that is what datmaker is trying to do. You need to reduce the amount of polygons/triangles the object has.

datmaker moves vertices to the same coordinates if vertices are very close to each other or inbetween certain coordinates (high poly models). This might cause weirdly shapen or oddly lit triangles.

I create models and artwork, check it out here
