Working on tier 12 [Molten giant battle gear]
This is what i got so far.

    Compleately made from scratch.

People have to do this more often.. it takes skill and effort but it's 200% better than just a rs item recoloured or a shield put together with rs bones and feathers..
Call yourself PRO when you can AT LEAST make a chestplate -fully animated- from scratch /zero/null/nothing!

EDIT: I don't use textures as i am not very familiar with making them. I don't bother testing it as i don't think they work as well as actual polygons.

EDIT: Dispite the high polygon rate, they do work in game without bugs or causing to turn invisable. However i leave the animation of the armor sets untill i finished the full set.

Youtube videos showing how i did it in timelapse.

Needs better textures on the lava and the rock.

those are no textures. I don't do textures as i believe it doesn't work properly on a client.

I never said they were textures. I'm saying you need them.

with all due respect, you are filling up the thread with something unnecesary.
I don't work with textures because i don't trust them, and i don't know how to work with textures. The reason why i don't bother learning how to work with textures is because i know polygons do the exact same thing, but with better result.
Nonetheless it takes more skill to make this with 100% polygons than just a flat cube with textures.

Textures work in game, given they comply with the client's restrictions.

I was only responding to the remarks you made. You were continuing the conversation as I was originally giving constructive criticism.

Also, I don't think you get what I mean by textures. Take a 'Fire Cape' for example. The cape has an animated texture the same as RuneScape's lava sprite. That is a plain texture with an animation applied to it via the client.

You could do the same to give the lava a bit more of a realistic feel to it. As per the set title, 'molten giant battle gear,' molten is liquid, whereas you have brown (rock?) parts in the armor. If this is supposed to be a form of rock composition, why not supply a better form of rock appearance?

It's only criticism, my dear friend. You don't have to take it.
