Alright, on my previous topic it said showoff, the model had 30k triangles and it had many glitches since the parts weren't connected to eachother because for some reason I made it seperate objects. However I have connected all the parts perfectly and it looks REALLY smooth now, I made 3 versions (recolours), a Vreg Blade, a Vreg Blade G and a Zamorak Vreg Blade. The model is made in 3DS Max (MAX FOR LIFE) and It's my FIRST SWORD model so go easy on me. I'm more into car modeling. There's a picture below of the current car I'm working on. Also, Max works with polygons not triangles so putting my Max model into Meta reduced the quality AND converting it to .dat also reduced the quality. In the download will be the 3 models in .mqo format and in .dat, why .mqo? Because It's for the ones who want to recolour the sword. If you recolour the .dat in Meta and then convert it back to .dat the quality will be reduced again but if you recolour the original .mqo and convert to .dat the quality will be kept. And since I have 16 pictures, I will explain what picture means what and how I got to it. IF YOU RECOLOUR THE SWORD DON'T FORGET TO GIVE ME CREDITS 2!!! Oh and not to forget, I didn't write ints because if there's one thing I hate it's writing int's. If you want to put this into your server, you'll need to scale it and make a ground model and a wear model out of this. And you will also need to write the int's. The download link and credits is on the end of this topic.
Let's start off with the current car I'm working on, the first picture is the car smoothed and rendered with mental ray (plugin in 3DS Max) and the second picture is the wireframe:
The first 2 pictures below are the pictures of the sword, smoothed up and putted in a little scène and the third picture is the sword, only in smooth:
The first picture is the model made in 3DS Max without smoothing and the second picture is the wireframe of that model:
Alright, so after I putted the model in Meta, made 3 versions out of it, I received this as result:
The Vreg Blade:
The Vreg Blade G:
The Zamorak Vreg Blade:
The first picture is the wireframe of Meta and the second one is the proove that this is RuneScape capable:
And now, after I putted the Meta models in Datmaker to convert it to .dat, it looked like this (THIS IS HOW IT WILL LOOK IN-GAME):
The Vreg Blade:
The Vreg Blade G:
The Zamorak Vreg Blade:
Voilà, that's it, I hope you enjoy my model. Rate and comment

Great i loved it ill learn 3d maxthanks
3DS Max for life but its not good for rs modeling cus converting it to mqo for exporting it to dat messes up the polygons and reduces the quality so i learned some modeling with metasequoia
