    Whenever I click the construction skill button on the stats tab or the portal the screen goes to loading... and then everything freezes.


    And this happens all the time when I try to go in the house....

    Is this a common ruse problem?

    I'm not sure what it is it seems as if the client shows an error saying javalangoutofbounds 8785


    Any help would help!

    i.e. client sided code etc

    Construction isn't fully implemented in Necrotic source at all.

    Look into ragefire release, they have construction working on it.

    Ruse v2 doesn't have a working construction and I haven't seen a server that has before. All the ruse sources that have a working construction are v1 and the tutorials, snippets, and copy and pasting won't work since the v1 and v2 clients are pretty different. I've spent a long time trying to get it to work and i've managed to get it to like 85%, but hardly usable still. It's definitely all client sided stuff and mainly dealing with packets 241 and 73. If you wanted to take a look i'd recommend starting there, but there are no tutorials out there so the closest you'll probably get is by looking at a v1 client and playing around with it until it's semi-working
