Thread: Auto Client Updater

Do you know the message that says something like: "Error downloading cache" if your client is messed up or something? Idk if this will work but if you make that say something like: "Error loading, newer client available" or something like that...then every time you have a new client change the

public static final int CUSTOM_CLIENT_BUILD = 3; <--- in the server change the 3 to a different one like a 4

then in the client change the

public static final int SUB_BUILD = 3; <--- loader.java or wherever it is for you change it to the new one you have in your server (the 4 or w/e)

the old client will give an error because it isnt the right custom client build number and that might work if your players know where your website/forums are to download the new client...not really sure what you are asking and idk if you understood what I just posted lol but tell me if it works or you need more explaining
