Whenever I try to log in to me and my friends server, it doesn't connect, but RL top list says it's online, and yes I've portforwarded.

    Help?

    1. The source doesnt connect to the client, the client connects to the source.
    2. Not likely as rune-locus shows that its online.
    3. Are you fucking retarded? you can obviously tell thats a 317 client.

Has that client ever worked with that source before? The only time ive seen something like that is when i was using a deob to connect to PI and it was getting rejected due to invalid UID

If he's hosting the server publicly, why would he have his client connect to localhost to test if its online properly?

To clear up, it's worked PERFECTLY before. PUBLICLY and LOCALLY.

Now, only 127.0.0.1 works, and divinegrounds.no-ip.biz doesn't. It's worked before, I portforwarded with uTorrent and no-ip, it HAS worked before. Is it because I have a second no-ip? I'm trying to connect to divinegrounds.no-ip.biz

Yes the client has worked with the source before.

The reason I'm trying to figure this out, is because I may host it again in the future, and as of now, I'm trying to host a 562 to work on, and want to make sure I can host it before I do anything. Atm the 562 won't work. So if I can get this to work, I can get the 562 to work. Just thought I'd clear that up.

    Your doing it wrong

Change your client to 127.0.0.1 and make others connect to the no-ip. It will work jsut get a friend to come on and see if its working. You'll be able to log in and see other players if you use 127.0.0.1

No... I connected via divinegrounds.no-ip.biz before, there is NO reason for it not to work now. Obviously there is, but I'm not sure what. I guess I'll try connecting via the client my friend put together for it. ;l

Also, why won't the server turn off?

    EDIT: Neither client works.

.... Just use 127.0.0.1 you dont "have" to be on your no-ip....

EDIT: I dont think the server needs to be on for it to be online. Or at least for me when I'm portforwarded and my servers off it says im online. lol
