Gl with your PI!
|
Hello everyone, before you read the rest of the thead, if your gonna hate just smfd cuz idfc.
Alright so, back to topic, I just got back to making/programming RSPS, from 2 years quitting and uhmm i see [PI] is everywhere :A. So i decided to make a server based on PI and galkon's client, but unlike the rest of the download & host srevers, I want it unique. So i was wondering, does any1 know how to (& can help me) make/add custom NPCs? They don't have to be super animated or something, I just want to learn the basics and I'll appreciate it a LOT & rep++ .
If there is a thread about this with the answers already, please add a link because i searched a few different times and reached over page 20 without finding anything helpfull.
Thanks 4 reading and srry 4 typing too much
Hope this helps you man

Gl with your PI!
You would be the first if it actually works, I've seen many projects and have never seen one completed, except for maybe Harry's...
Anyway the thread Brian linked you to is good but you will need to be able to model if you want them actually custom, and the 317/377 rendering is horrible so you may want to upgrade to 474+ rendering first...
Gl.
you can do everything but your npc will be invisible so you will have to create a model or have someone else do it for you but i doubt they will do for free good luck
alright, thanks a lot brianm23 and MonstrPkz, I'll do my best, and if you know any ways/tuts/softwares to make models I'd like some too, and the same with making new interfaces.
I'll do my best to let this server, the most advanced PI .
Gl mate
When I first started messing around with PI, I faced the same thing.
You can add the models in the Raw folder, plug in the ints and everything, and even finish it server-sided but the NPC would still be jacked up.
Try getting a new model header, or a new client base to make things easier. I know for a fact DSPK works, and new NPC + models can be added in whenever. Hope this helps
Good luck mate
