If I'm correct, the UID is server sided so just remove something that looks like if (UID == NUMBERSHERE){
asjdbasdb;
asdasdasdasd;
}
EDIT: Never EVER used BS so IDK!?

I was wondering if there's a possibility of using a different client with the battlescape source, if so how?

Nah. You really would get the best results using BS CLient.
BS Client is really easy to work with anyhow man.
