    as the title says heres a 317 deob(NOTHING HAS BEEN TOUCHED OTHER THAN THE ADDITION OF OPENGL) with runelite gpu plugin

    Well. The way it was designed it basically hooks/plays off top of the existing scenegraph and applies after all of the operations are done/tiles are redrawn multiple times (at least stock runelite did). Since you are basically using opengl to render on the gpu, you could technically use gpu rather than software culling (edit ur Scenegraph draw to only iterate through the tiles once rather than multiple times).

    This would be a good starter for someone wanting to nuke the existing renderer backend.

    Also, you would probably get some gains by moving rendering off the main thread.

    I dumped the shaders off of RS a couple years back in revision 833. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Since this is setup for OpenGL and the modern pipeline, Shadows/Bloom, etc should be pretty rippable from the new Revisions.
